DESCRIPTION:Truck parking is a critical issue in the trucking industry. According to the 2020 Critical Issues in the Trucking Industry Report published by the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI)\, commercial drivers ranked truck parking as the #1 issue. FDOT has been making progress on truck parking initiatives\, both at the Statewide and District levels. A series of Statewide Truck Parking Workshops are being scheduled to bring together the truck parking industry\, including both public and private partners\, to discuss how we can work collaboratively to solve the truck parking problem in Florida. This is the first webinar in the series.
