The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has issued two letters designed to ensure petroleum marketers can obtain and deliver fuel for emergency generators and responders conducting restoration and repair of downed communication and power lines that are critical to the management of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Petroleum marketers supplying fuel for these qualifying purposes should maintain a copy of the letters in the cab of each truck and make available to suppliers, law enforcement authorities and emergency responders as needed. The letters are valid from March 16 through May 28.

The Paycheck Protection Program prioritizes millions of Americans employed by small businesses by authorizing up to $349 billion toward job retention and certain other expenses. Small businesses and eligible nonprofit organizations, Veterans organizations, and Tribal businesses described in the Small Business Act, as well as individuals who are self-employed or are independent contractors, are eligible if they also meet program size standards. - Executive Order 20-69 this Executive Order waives in-person meeting requirements so that public officials can safely continue their duties without impediment.
- Executive Order 20-70 this Executive Order directs all movie theatres, concert houses, auditoriums, playhouses, bowling alleys, arcades, gymnasiums, fitness studios and beaches to close in Broward County and Palm Beach County.
- Executive Order 20-71 this Executive Order directs all restaurants and food establishments within the state to suspend on-premises food and alcohol consumption for customers.

- Attorney General Ashley Moody has activated Florida’s Price Gouging Hotline for all consumers in the state
Attorney General Ashley Moody said, “We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation in Florida very closely and following the Governor’s state of emergency declaration, our price gouging laws are now in effect. I have a rapid response team ready to immediately respond to allegations of price gouging and our Consumer Protection Division continues to look for scams by fraudsters who would use this situation to rip-off Floridians".

TSA
TSA Extends TWIC Expiration Date for Six Months: In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has granted a temporary exemption from requirements in 49 CFR part 1572 regarding the expiration of certain Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWICs). For the duration of this exemption, TSA will extend the expiration date of TWICs that expired on or after March 1, 2020, by 180 days. This exemption became effective on April 10, 2020, and remains in effect through July 31, 2020, unless otherwise modified by TSA.
