FLHSMV has issued Emergency Order 26-05, effective immediately, waiving hours-of-service requirements for qualifying commercial vehicles entering Florida to support emergency response efforts associated with Isaias.
The order broadly covers emergency supplies and should be interpreted to include petroleum transportation supporting storm preparation and response.
It also provides certain registration and IFTA/IRP licensing relief for qualifying emergency relief vehicles. Existing IFTA/IRP recordkeeping and other applicable requirements remain in effect.
The order expires December 5, 2026, unless rescinded earlier. Please share this order with your transportation teams and keep a copy in vehicles operating under the waiver.
